Dates and Location

There will be three competitions this year held at SELEX Gailieo locations across the UK. Dates have now been finalised for these events:-

• Edinburgh - June 14th Programme details Maps and Directions
  
  
• Basildon - June 21st
  
  
• Luton - June 28th

Events

Each competition will comprise an assault course, a football tournament, a sumo match and a tug of war.
Each Rampaging Chariot Team will also compete for the crown of Regional Grand Champion scoring points in each event. Four points will be awarded for a first place, three for a second, two for a third and one point for a fourth place with the Grand Champion being the team with the greatest number of points. In addition to these events, there will also be judges awards for:

• Best Newcomer
• Most Inovative Design - selected on the basis of the appearance and presentation of the Rampaging Chariot
• Best Engineered
• Special Commendation

Applying

Applications for Robot kits has now closed for 2008, but if you alread have a Rampaging Chariot, then you can register here to compete in one of our three regional events. Participation in the competition is free.

Teams

While the first robot kit and entry to the competition is provided free, we strongly recommend that you purchase an additional kit so that your group can form its own footbal team. If you'd like to check that you've been registered or see who else is competing then you can do so on the teams page.
