Your team’s mission is to design and construct a powerful robot to compete in an Assault Course competition and to play in a two-a-side Football Tournament.

Theory 2 - Safety

Theory 3 – General Theory

Covering Motive power, Steering, Wheels, Axles, Maximum Horizontal Speed, Batteries, Chargers, Chassis, Ball Guides, Aerial, and Artistic design.

Theory 4 – Electronic Motor Controllers

Covering What The Motor Controller Does, PIC, How A Motor Controller Works, MOSFET Bridge, For Geeks, and Stall Current.

Theory 5 – Radio Control

Covering How It Works, Controls, and Exponential Control Law.

Practice 6 – Soldering

Covering Tools, Solder Joints, Cleanliness, Temperature, Time, Soldering, Horrors, Removing and Re-soldering Components, and Troubleshooting Guide.

Build 7 – Constructing The Chassis

Covering Chassis Base and Sides, Assembling The Chassis, Dismantling The Drills, Drive Wheels, Fitting the Motor Assembly, Balancing Wheels, Batteries and Connectors, Rear Safety Lights, Radio Receiver and Aerial, and Chassis Plan.

Build 8 – Constructing the Motor Controllers

Covering Identifying Components, Inserting the Components, Constructing the Heat Sink, Configuring the Boards as Master and Slave, and Test Equipment.

Build 9 – Testing The Motor Control Boards
